Hear From Our Students

If you could give advice to incoming students, what would it be? "The advice I would give is to make a positive change in yourself, from who you were to who you truly are now. Don’t let others stand in the way of your success."

Alesana Jorlang, Senior

If you could give advice to incoming students, what would it be?

BBC m "If I could give advice to new students going to Career Tech, I’d probably tell them to make sure their grades are good. It’s better to stay on top of them rather than waiting until the last year to catch up. If you happen to get in trouble or make a mistake, own up to it and be truthful; things will get better. However, it’s best to stay out of trouble. Another piece of advice I’d give to new students is to follow the dress code and avoid wearing inappropriate clothing, as they are very strict about it."

Kyle Laguana, Junior

How do you balance academic responsibilities with personal interests? "For me personally, I balance school and my personal interests by finishing all my schoolwork on time for the classes I have. Sometimes, I even do extra work so I don’t have to worry about it later. This way, outside of school, I can do my own thing without stressing about unfinished work. By the time I go to work or enjoy my days off, I don’t have to worry about any assignments because I made sure to complete everything before leaving school."

Kaylani Ojeda, Senior
